DEP’s Office of Environmental Education will offer a free workshop in Blair County on Wednesday, June 13th at The Hollidaysburg Public Library, Hollidaysburg, PA, titled “Weathering the Storm: Understanding Stormwater Runoff.” Participants will learn how to create meaningful watershed educational experiences to advance environmental literacy and stormwater stewardship.
Who is this workshop is designed for?
- Classroom teachers (Act 48 credits available!)
- Others who perform environmental education and outreach to the public, such as:
- MS4 permittees seeking compliance with MCM #1
- Conservation Districts
- Watershed groups
- Other non-profit organizations
